Minichiello Unsure On Next Move

Mark Minichiello has revealed he does not know if he will continue to play for Hull FC for another season.

The forward, who turned 37 in January, is one of 14 players that are coming to the end of their contracts at the KCOM Stadium.

Minichiello, a former South Sydney Rabbitohs star, joined the Black and Whites in 2015 and he has since made 119 appearances for the club.

He has started all but one game for the club this season but the Aussie admits that his future is still up in the air at present.

“You always give thought to what you’re doing next year and whether you’re going to move back or whatever it is,” Minichiello told Hull Live. “At the moment I’m just enjoying playing and I’ll discuss with my wife and the family about what we want to do past this year, but at this stage we haven’t made a concrete decision. “Maybe there’s an option to go home and start something new.

It’s always hard to know what to do at this early stage of the season. “There’s not been talks with the club yet, I’ve just left it and with everything that happened last year with me playing through injuries, I wanted to make sure my body was right for the start of the year and to get back playing and running around without pain again.”
