Moses Set For Bench Role In Napoli Vs Inter Milan Coppa Italia Semi-Final

Former Nigerian international, Victor Moses is very much likely going to start from the substitutes’ bench when Inter Milan meet Napoli in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals on Saturday.

Inter will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit. The two rival clubs will be returning to action for the first time since the coronavirus-enforced suspension with both vying for a spot in the final.

But ahead of the match, Moses who is on loan from Chelsea might not start. According to sempreinter.com, “Christian Eriksen is certain to start for Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg away to Napoli.

“Inter manager, Antonio Conte is to deploy Inter in a 3-4-1-2 system at the Stadio San Paolo and this will allow Eriksen to play in his natural role of attacking midfielder.”

With regards to Inter, they have to overturn a 1-0 deficit in Napoli’s backyard. The seven-time Coppa Italia champions triumphed two years on the bounce in 2010 and 2011 but have not reached the final since.

The two sides will no doubt have one eye on their respective Serie A campaigns ahead of the league’s resumption but Saturday’s encounter at Stadio San Paolo promises to be a hugely entertaining affair.

Moses joined Inter on a six-month contract in January after spending the first half of the season at Turkish Super Lig club, Fenerbahce. He has made seven appearances with an assist to his name.
