Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah put up a fine performance as Orlando Pirates defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the final of the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
Ndah saw for action for 90 minutes in the keenly contested encounter played at the Mbombela Stadium.
The 26-year-old was booked for a rough tackle four minutes after the break.

Patrick Maswanganyi equalised for Pirates from the spot 11 minutes from time.
Substitute Relebohile Mofokeng was the hero for the Buccaneers as he scored the winning goal in stoppage time.

Still wondering why Olisa Ndah has been overlooked from the senior national team following the injury crisis in the defence with the likes of Troost Ekong out on the mend and Ola Aina as well as Zaidu Sanusi.
If Olisa Ndah is a regular player for Orlando Pirates in the same league where buck of South African players play, so why should such a player be overlooked in the Super Eagles set-up, since 2021 AFCON when he last featured for Nigeria.
I think Nigeria FA would be better advised to carry out a proper audit of Nigerian players based major top leagues in Africa including the North African leagues so as to have balanced representation of Nigerians in the national team set-up. If we do due diligence, we’ll be surprised to find some quality players whose addition like Stanley Nwabili would have helped improved the senior national team.
