The Nigeria Football Federation has sent birthday wishes to former Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi and Super Falcons Keeper Alaba Jonathan, who clocked 34 and 28 years respectively on Monday, Completesports.com reports.
The NFF took to their verified Twitter handle to send both players the birthday wishes.
“Happy birthday @NGSuperEagles forward Chinedu Obasi and @NGSuper_Falcons goal keeper, Alaba Jonathan.”

Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Obasi started his football career at River Lane Youth Club Enugu and JC Raiders in his homeland country.
Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Obasi was a member of the Golden Eaglets squad that featured at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Finland.
Obasi was part of the Flying Eagles and U-23 Eagles that finished second at the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Also, he made the Eagles squad to the Angola Africa Cup of Nations and South Africa World Cup both in 2010.
Among clubs he featured for are Lyn Oslo, AIK, Schalke 04 and Elfsborg.
Jonathan began her career in the youth of the Navy Angels. After she failed to qualify for the senior team of the Navy Angels, she moved to the Pelican Stars in spring 2010 where she remains under contract.
Jonathan came into prominence when she helped the Falconets to the final of the FIFA U-20 women’s World in German, where they lost 2-0 to the host.
At the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany Jonathan was the third choice keeper for the Falcons.
She was in goal when the Falcons clinched the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
