Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has been confirmed as the venue for Slot 4 of the Nationwide League One (NLO) Promotion Playoffs, Completesports.com reports.
Ibadan, Shagamu, and Ijebu Ode are the other three centres that make up the four Southern Centres, from where four teams—one from each centre—will qualify for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL).
In Ibadan, which represents Slot 2, Real Sapphire, FC Ebedei, Stormers FC, and Joy Cometh will battle for the sole promotion ticket.
In Ijebu Ode, Magic Stars, Okaka FC, Ikorodu City FA, and Lekki United will fight for the bragging rights and a place in the NNL.
Slot 4, with Port Harcourt as its centre, comprises four teams: E-World FC, FC One Rocket, Ozalla FA, and Ahudiyannem FC.
These teams are scheduled to compete in a round-robin format at the Port Harcourt Centre, with the overall winner sealing their place in the NNL—the nation’s second-tier league.

In the Northern Zone, the promotion playoff centres include Lafia City Stadium in Nasarawa State, Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos, and Games Village Stadium (location unspecified).
Group winners from each centre will earn automatic tickets to the 2025/2026 NNL. All eight winners from the zonal centres nationwide will then converge at a yet-to-be-disclosed venue for the Super 8 Tournament, which will determine the overall champions of the 2024/2025 NLO season.
All matches across the centres are scheduled to kick off on 12 June.
Olushola Ogunnowo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the NLO, stated that each team is required to pay a fee of ₦150,000 upon arrival for organisational logistics.
“Besides, all the qualified clubs are allowed to register an additional five (5) players as replacements for injured players,” Ogunnowo said in a memo sent to the clubs and centre coordinators, a copy of which is in Completesports.com’s possession.
