The three-time AFCON winners, the Super Eagles are in Group B along with Burundi, Guinea, and Madagascar.

Mikel will not feature for Nigeria again because his dad told him never to play for Nigeria if he is to survive in Jos from the hand of the Northern Kidnappers.
Mikel will play if he can get NFF assurance of providing his dad security constantly.
