Kano Pillars forward/General Manager, Ahmed Musa, has expressed confidence that the club will survive the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) relegation battle, Completesports.com reports.
Rabiu Ali’s 45th-minute penalty was enough to hand Kano Pillars a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Warri Wolves in their 2025/2026 NPFL Matchday 37 clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofor Mata Kano, on Sunday 10 May 2026.
The crucial win lifted the Sai Masu Gida side to 11th position on the table with one game remaining in the season.

Kano Pillars will travel to face Plateau United in next Sunday’s final fixture of the campaign.
Kano Pillars Will Fight Till The End — Ahmed Musa
A visibly delighted Musa told reporters after the tense encounter that Kano Pillars would continue fighting until the end of the season.
“I’ve said this over and over again from the beginning of the season that Kano Pillars won’t go down,” the former Super Eagles captain said.
“Today, we’ve secured the three points against Warri Wolves and we still have one game to play.
“So, we’ll keep fighting until the final game of the season.”
Ahmed Musa Explains Injury Struggles
Musa also attributed his reduced playing time earlier in the season to injury problems.

“Yeah, you know that even before the start of the current season, I had been dealing with a series of injuries. But now, I’m okay.”
Kano Pillars Fans Urged To Keep Supporting Team
The former Nigeria winger also appealed for continued support from the club’s fans and supporters.
“Like I’ve always urged them, let them continue supporting and praying for us.
“At the end of the day, we’ll see what happens because football is all about 90 minutes. Let them continue supporting us; we won’t disappoint them. So, let us wait until the final game.”
