Former Kwara United coach Samson Unuanel says he’s optimistic Bendel Insurance can pick a continental ticket at the end of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Unuanel made this known on the backdrop of their impressive performance in the league, where they are currently placed fifth on 55 points on the league standings.
Speaking with Completesports.com, Unuanel stated that Bendel Insurance have shown great strength and confidence in holding their own in the NPFL.

He noted that the team have the experience to pick a continental ticket for the CAF Confederation Cup at the end of the season.
“I want to admit that Bendel Insurance have really done well in this season’s Nigeria Professional Football League. Sitting fifth on the league standings shows their determination and ambition to finish on a high this season.
“I am still optimistic that the team will pick a continental ticket for the CAF Confederation Cup at the end of the season. Besides, Bendel Insurance can still finish in the Champions League spot if other teams fail to win their matches.
“But then, Bendel Insurance have impressed me this season, and I am glad with their general performance in the league.”
