Hassan Abdallah, Head Coach of Warri Wolves, has exclusively told Completesports.com that the Seasiders will not be relegated to the second-tier Nigeria National League (NNL), assuring that the club will fight for victory in their final match of the season against Abia Warriors to secure their NPFL status.
Warri Wolves are 16th in the standings with 46 points going into Sunday’s Matchday 38 clash against Abia Warriors in Ozoro.
A possible win for the Seasiders will see Coach Abdallah’s side finish the season with 49 points and secure safety from relegation.
Warri Wolves Determined To Avoid Relegation
“It has been a difficult season, but I want to make it clear that Warri Wolves won’t go down,” Abdallah told Completesports.com on Monday.

“It’s the last match that will determine the league winners and ultimately those that will be relegated. That shows how difficult the season has been, but I assure our fans and supporters that Warri Wolves won’t go down, not at this time.”
Abdallah Focused On Crucial Abia Warriors Clash
Abdallah arrived as a replacement for former Head Coach Napoleon Aluma, who was suspended by the club hierarchy.
Since then, he has tried to steady the ship for the Seasiders in a campaign that clearly stands out as one of the toughest in the history of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
“Our focus is on the Abia Warriors game. It’s a match we’ve devoted our full attention to. The boys have continued to work hard ahead of the game because once we win, we won’t have to look over our shoulders regarding what happens at other venues.
Survival Mission Tops Warri Wolves Agenda
“I’m happy the boys are focusing on it physically and mentally. It’s a decisive game and we know Abia Warriors are a difficult side.
“But we are determined and prepared for whatever they come up with because our survival depends on the outcome of the game,” Abdallah stated.
