Youngster Aidan Dumuje-Abili has claimed silver medal in the swimming event at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival, reports Completesports.com.
Dumuje-Abili, a Junior Secondary School, JSS, three student of Grange School, Lagos came second in the men’s backstroke in a time of 1:04.15.
The 14-year-old is representing Independent Junior Athletes, IJA, at Gateway Games 2024.

It’s the first senior medal for the talented youngster.
He has previously won gold medals at the Dolphin Swimming League, National Youth Games, International School Sport Federation and World School games.
Team Ogun’s Kolade Otunla won gold medal in a time of 1:02.41s, while Duke Enyekamime of Team Delta went home with bronze medal in a time of 1:04.70s.
