Team Rivers’ Emmanuel Ojeli has won gold medal in the men’s 400m at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival in Ogun State, Completesports.com reports.
Ojeli broke his personal best (PB), with a time of 45.58s to win the race.
Gafar Badmus of Team Ogun finished second, while Victor Sampson of Team Akwa Ibom came third.

In the women’s category, Patience Okon-George of Cross Rivers State won the gold medal in convincing fashion.
Okon-George came first in a season’s best time of 51.60s.
She also smashed the festival record of 51.76s set by Imaobong Nse Uko.
Happy Rasheed of Team Rivers came second, while Team Lagos’ Miracle Uwem was third.
