Super Eagles defender Chibuike Nwaiwu has disclosed that facing Trabzonspor teammate Mohamed Salah requires a player to be 100% ready and completely focused.
He noted that defenders must maintain total concentration because the Egyptian forward is a top-level player who punishes even the smallest mistakes.

He emphasized that Salah possesses the technical ability and complete package to dismantle a defense if a player loses focus even for a split second.
The Nigerian centre-back expressed that he welcomes the tough assignment of testing himself against elite attackers like Salah.
“Every player who plays against Salah needs to be very prepared,” Nwaiwu said as per Haber61.
“As a defender, I would like to play against Salah. If I’m going to play against him, I need to be 100% ready and completely focused. Because Salah is not a player you can easily take out of the game. He has very high quality.”
Recall that Salah netted two goals in his first Turkish Super Lig appearance for Trabzonspor and nearly completed a hat-trick in their victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.

The 34-year-old Egyptian forward departed Liverpool this summer on a free transfer, having netted 257 goals for the club over nine years.
Originally anticipated to transfer to Saudi Arabia, he ultimately signed with the Turkish team on a two-year contract, making £280,000 weekly.
This marked his third match for Trabzonspor, following his substitution against Kasimpasa last weekend and his starting role in the Europa League play-off first-leg loss to Ferencvaros.
