Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen is now willing to join Napoli after initially turning down overtures from the Serie A club, reports Completesports.com.
According to transfer news expert, Nicolo Shira, Lille have demanded €60m from Napoli for the forward.
Osimhen also wants a five-year-contract worth €4m a year.

” Lille ask €60M to sell Victor #Oshimen. #Napoli are really interested in him. The nigerian striker wants 5-years contract with a wages of €4M a year. #transfers” Schira wrote on his Twitter handle.
The 21-year-old linked up with Lille from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi last summer.
The former Wolfsburg striker scored 18 goals and bagged six assists in 31 games across all competitions for Les Dogues.
Osimhen has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Good choice. Thumbs up.
Nice one bro, i have always surgested Napoli as the club for you to explode, you wont regret joining napoli, just go there and score goals, wishing you lots of good lucks
why Italy of all places? The level of racism in that part of the world is on steroids. I’d have preferred him going to England or Spain. Also, it will be a tug of war whenever he wants to leave cos the Napoli president is known for frustrating transfers. whatever he chooses, Nigerians are behind him and praying for him. All the best Osimhen.
Hope you’ll get playing time over there because that’s the main thing now… I believe from Napoli, he will venture to a bigger club
I think it will be a good decision , keep soaring bro. Meanwhile Iheanancho was busy drinking beer and eating 10 raps of Apu during the locked down, his putbelly is now like late Ayinde Barrister. I’ve realized Iheanancho is not ready to be more successful in his career.

Loooolzzz. Ride on Nacho buster Douglas. Seen the pic. Pls let the baby out quickly before June 17.
@Glory. I swear the guy talent going down slowly dey pain me to bone whenever I remember his days with eaglet, but the guy no seems bothered atall. What a pity!
For me it is a no-brainer: Osimhen is gravitating more positively towards the club that has shown the keenest, meaningful and most passionate interest in acquiring his precocious services.
Hardly a week goes by without a headline of this club or thar club showing interest in Osimhen.
However, a week ago, his representative made a statement which was as telling as it was revealing.
“I can confidently tell you that the only club that wants Victor 100% right now is Napoli.” said Osimhen’s Rep.
“But the final decision on whether he wants to join them lies with him.
Also, Newcastle are in the race just like Tottenham. But it’s just interest alone. No real sign of commitment from them.” he concluded.
The confirmations crouching behind those words are now becoming manifest as Osimhen himself appears to be steering towards Seria A football.
One undisputable fact about Italian football is the solidity of their defensive plays and slow but methodical build up to goals scoring.
Should this move materialise, Osimhen will learn valuable tricks from the Italians which would only go on to help add further valuable rings to the ever lengthening chain of skills needed to make him the well rounded robust centre forward that he is slowly moulding up to become.
Racism is everywhere. Just ensure you love the physical environment and you feel at home with your employers.
Is this the same Segun at KON? If its the same person, Hhave you been using another name or just getting back on CSN? Pls pardon my curiosity.
His position in the UEFA Champions League is guaranteed “as e dey hot”. This is a great way to cement his real value. He will be in same league with Top goal scorers and Top defenders who are brutal in Italian mafia season. Surely his development will rise like Obafemi Martins’ when he plaeyed in Inter Milan.
What do we gain to lose? Our boy will be prepared to take Africa, our boy can go down in a long term Injury.
Kalidou Koulibaly of Senegal, Faouzi Ghoulam of Algeria are the other Africans (both defenders) in Napoli, again, we gain to lose. Think about it. Osimhen will come out stronger, the kind of goal-getter that cannot be pushed aside.
I do not think Napoli are in a position to qualify for the champions league next season.Probably the UEFA cup but a good club to continue his growth as a professional.
Napoli is an upgrade in his career and hopefully his next move could be to a much bigger club
News coming out from a radio station here in Ibadan is that he has already been signed by Napoli on a 5yrs deal. Dont know how true this is.
Yeah I just saw it on Twitter too
@ Unique. Truly Nachos case really hurts. He started off his professional football career from the top unlike Osimene. Definitely such career trajectory n few other factors determines how far n how well such talents will go. Osimene should remain grateful to his crews, they are making the right choices for him so far.
As great as this news may sound, Victor and his crew must consider the kind of players in Napoli, especially in midfield, because this where the tricks lies. A creative midfield always help a good striker, remember the case of Yekini, with Mutiu, Oliseh, Amunike, Amokachi, siasia etc behind him, we all knows how he explode. Drogba-Lampard-Balack-joe cole, Benzema-modric-Bale-Casemiro-Marcelo.. etc the example goes on and on. They surely needs to consider that.
Napoli is a good club to develop. He will be assured playing time there and they have Creative players. The likes of Insigne et al. But, I’m bothered by the level of RACISM that has kept African players running from the Italian League for years. How many African Strikers can we say they survived and had a glorious career in Italy apart from Obafemi Martins and George Weah?? Even as good and committed KOULIBALY is to Naples, he has suffered RACISM there. This stuff frustrate African players there and they would want to get out to any Club ASAP. If the deal is true, I pray Oshimen doesn’t suffer same.
I’m confused though because @brilla FM reported this morning along with OwngoalNigeria that Oshimen already agreed a 5 year deal with them
Wow wow wow
I don’t know if someone is seeing what I’m seeing.
This is surely the bait of a Tiki Taka. It simply means with the fortress of forwards Napoli possesses, it might be difficult for Osimhen to break into the First Eleven. Not forgetting Italia Serie A is such difficult League itself
This implies that, even if he won’t be playing regularly, he would have cool sums smiling at him
With this, I’m sure Napoli wouldn’t want to keep someone earning that much on the bench
How much more when money meets regular playing time!
What a brilliant ideology there!!!
