Former Italy striker, Antonio Cassano has revealed that he had doubts about Super Eagles Osimhen’s quality when he came to the Serie A, but he’s been proven wrong game after game with Napoli.
Recall that the Nigerian international netted a brace in Napoli’s 2-1 away win over Hellas Verona at the weekend.
However, Cassano stated this while speaking on Bobo TV via Tutto Napoli.
“The header scored by Osimhen is incredible, it looked like a missile.
”Napoli went to a tremendous stadium and played a great match as a great team that wants to stay connected to the others. Juventus suffered more with Sampdoria than Napoli with Hellas.
“Osimhen? I did not believe in his potential, I had many doubts and instead with the passing of the games, I can say that I realized that he can become a top player in the world,” Cassano said.

If the match is play outside Ghana, those leaders responsible for that useless 6 march should be beaten! What a useless country ghana has become! Npp is joke and I can’t wait for the next election for them to be voted out!! How can they be so reckless? We have an important wc qualifier but these stupid, inept leaders still decided to send the useless 6th march to the very avenue we are going to play this important match!! Honestly am done with npp and am so disappointed with the president because he has been careless with the national team! Omfg!! Sometime when I see the carelessness and the irresponsible attitudes of our leaders, it saddens u a lot!! I hope Ghanaians voted these incompetent idiots out!! Nobody is saying that independence isn’t important but they could’ve move it to another location! There’s no international PR that’s more than the wc qualification!! Just been a mere participant at the wc elevates a country status than any other thing and it brings a lot of economic benefits to the nation as well as its citizens!! There’s a reason so many counties want to be at the greatest theatre on earth which is the worldcup! This administration is bogus and they have no interest in football ans is clearly obvious!! The very fact that after 65 years of celebrating this independence but we have no decent stadiums renders this very activity useless!! Can u imagine that we are spending monies on celebrating this activity but we have nothing to show for the very thing that we are celebrating!!
