Pauli Pauli Injury Rocks Trinity

Wakefield Trinity have been rocked by the news Pauli Pauli will be out of action for up to three months with a knee injury.

The 25-year-old prop suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury in the pre-season encounter against Newcastle and now the Australian is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Following consultations with an orthopaedic knee specialist, Pauli will be in a knee brace for the first three to four weeks before starting rehabilitation work with the Wakefield medical team.

Head coach Chris Chester and his Trinity side start their Super League campaign on February 1 when they make the trip to the capital to take on London Broncos.
