The Senegalese looks older than our boys.We are playing well in this game.Refree should protect our players against physical Senegal

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

    1:0 against us

  • Charles 5 years ago

These guys always no how to spoil my day

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Difference in quality…..one team had a one-on-one and fluffed it….another had same and buried it…!
    Game on….!

  • We are playing much better this time. How will Sor miss that chance

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

Selfish play will bring this team home early.
Senegal was there for the taking but seeking of personal glory denied us goal before Senegal scored.

  • Sunnyb 5 years ago

Aigbogun why u decided to punish us, what did we do to deserve this punishment, Aigbogun where did u get these punch of clueless guys from. Rabiu and tijani thanks guys for exposing Aigbogun.

    • Eduardo 5 years ago

He collected money from them .OK now look at tijani I Sabi play pass that fool even the coach deserves to be Questioned how manage the fools enters in to the term   Rubbish coach

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

The sani of a guy is a huge joke

  • That right fullback has looked suspect to me. Not surprised he slipped to allow the senegal striker ghost past him.

The Flying Eagles really should be bossing Senegal about.

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

We are trying shaa as usual but we simply don’t have it.

  • Never seen a team as clueless as these bunch. They all clamour they want to play in the best leagues but they cant stand up and be counted on the world stage where all the scouts are watching.

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

    2:0

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

    Horrible keeper….Lol.

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

    0-2 Senegal.
    Game over…!!!

  • Wow, the Senegal players appear more mobile, fluid and full of better ideas.

At 2:0, I think it is curtains.

This has been an underwhelming Nigerian side. As I wrote previously, lacking in quality, finesse and panache.

  • Can’t believe what am watching. Same mental mistakes

  • onwajunior 5 years ago

    Our keeper is useless!!

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

    History teachers where una dey?

You guys are just simply blind to the truth or pretending to be blind.

That’s why Nigeria will never be better.

Oya patriotic fellows where are you?

    • onwajunior 5 years ago

Lool… “Naija has never lost to any African country at the World stage”

    • Proudly 9ja 5 years ago

We are still here. It’s unfortunate that the coach isn’t smart. Against the Senegalese u need to choke the midfield and like I had said in one of my posts d right formation would have been 352 without utin and rabiu but d coach messed up yet again. This game was ours for d taking I swear. Bcos we are now chasing d game we will most likely be exposed and d Senegalese might capitalize on dat. But notwithstanding there is still 2nd half lol. Forever a patriot. 9ja forever

  • Worst Nigerian team ever. No fighting spirit, nothing!

  • Simple control of ball, they can’t do it. They will trap the ball and give it to the opponent. Basic stuff.

  • Darey 5 years ago

Deadbeat coach…..I blame d coach not the players!!!

  • I am in pain…

  • Adewuyi Olaosenikan 5 years ago

    Aigbogun has failed.

  • Lord AMO 5 years ago

Hardly anything they’ve done in this game or tournament has come off.  Its been very disappointing to say the least.  They cant connect simple passes to each other.  Our one on one chance was fluffed, okay it was a decent save by the goalie but the lack of composure with the rebound was just abysmal.

This team has been painful to watch.  I hope to the heavens that this product we put forth for the world to see would inspire us to start doing the right thing but i wouldn’t bet on that with even one kobo

  • Charles 5 years ago

I weak, our players lack lots of motivation and it seems every one want to shine.Which kind team be this one self, keeper just old but nothing him fit catch

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

The moment the coach started allowing players to leave camp to go for trials or sign contracts in other countries, I knew this was one team that will have no focus. 1 thing i’ve noticed in the team throughout this competition is the fact that the players are very individualistic….zero teamwork….everybody wan show.

  • Eduardo 5 years ago

Next time he will collect money and put the idiots players I don’t have anything to say for till the match ends

  • Sunnyb 5 years ago

For real Aigbogun should be arrested by EFCC he must  vomit all the money he collected from  these guys . Rabiu , tijani thanks again guys for really exposing Aigbogun.

    • Now we see why Rohr closed invitation to new players few weeks before this Alcon  to focus and avoid being used by players agents. I remember He complained about agents and players trying to use tricks and influence to feature their players. I will like to see African coaches do well but almost like everything else they are so short sighted. They don’t know good coaches can earn a lot of money in dollars way more than any player can bribe you with. I wish Amuneke success he is one African coach I see that’s serious in building any team he is in charge of

  • Mykel 5 years ago

Tijani was not able to complete a pass the whole of first half, he gave away every ball that came his way, how is that guy a footballer,my prayer now is for the match not to end in a white wash.

  • Eduardo 5 years ago

    Coach and tijani

  • And for those you that keep saying the Keeper is to blame. I ask, what keeper? The Nigerian goal post is open and unmanned. Simple.

  • Edoman. 5 years ago

Let them come home. They have tried. I have already written them off at the group stage. Senegal is the King of football in Africa at all level.

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

Rabiu is so horrible and Tijani is a waste pipe

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

    1-2

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

    2:1

  • What an insult from Paul Aigbogun, Is he telling Nigerians that we lack talents so bad that he packed clueless bunch of players to a youth tournament of this magnitude really? While players are at home begging for opportunity then he around the world picking players who lack finesse mental strength without vision for a competition of this scale . what a humiliation. Look guys for the record ,this the worst U20 Team Nigeria ever produced at this level. Paul Aigbogun is a huge joke no wonder my Darling Team Enyimba didn’t waste time to replace him. Too bad for Nigeria football.

  • The Flying Eagles came out in the second half with purpose and have been rewarded with for their efforts minutes after nearly going 3:0 down after some shambolic defending.

    Game on!

  • Nigeria Nigeria 5 years ago

SUNNYB YOU ACTUALLY SAID MY MIND GOVERNMENT SHOULD INVESTIGATE AND IF FOUND GUILTY THE COACH SHOULD BE JAILED. FOOTBALL IS A NATIONAL ISSUE . HAVE  NEVER SEEN CROPS  OF USELESS PLAYERS  IN MY LIFE.

  • Charles 5 years ago

Cant these man remove this our striker called tijani, him just dey run around for pitch

  • Sunnyb 5 years ago

This’s becoming a mental torture, Rabiu pls go and join your colleagues in Sambisa forest  take tijani with u.

    • Pompei 5 years ago

Maybe we should change their name from FLYING EAGLES to SAMBISA ELEVEN? 🙂

  • The Flying Eagles have lost their early second half momentum and have gone back to their clueless ways.

  • onwajunior 5 years ago

    Who is Eletu again?

  • For neutrals, it’s actually an entertaining encounter.

  • Charles 5 years ago

TIJANI WORST STRIKER EVER, ZERO BALL CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tijani Mohammed’s game is beyond useless: poor touch, poor position, poor timing, poor end product.

    Poor poor poor.

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

That guy should better change his ministry….bcos this one i am seeing….i dont think he was called to play football o. He should go and try traditional wrestling biko…!

  • With 2 strikers in a favourable position, Sor elects to blaze high and wide.

    Poor….

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

The most unintelligent team Nigeria has lined up in decades. No simple football sense.

    • Pompei 5 years ago

What if, after all this yabbing, they grab the equalizer, win the game, and go on to win the cup? ;-0 🙂 🙂
      Dreaming for Nigeria.

      • Eduardo 5 years ago

        Keep on dreaming

        • Pompei 5 years ago

Lol my friend, hope this defeat does not stop you from having dinner tonight? Not worth it, bro. Eat well, and have a nice restful sleep!

  • Sunnyb 5 years ago

    Who’s this Sor again?

  • Oh my goodness! Aigbogun leaves Tijani Mohammed on the pitch…..

    Damn!

  • onwajunior 5 years ago

This coach is crazy. Removed Oforborh for Bashiru

  • As soon as our attackers get the ball to Tijani, the attack fizzles out.

  • Footballfanatic 5 years ago

This is what happens when you hire a raging and functional alcoholic to be a national team coach and not to also forget the coach that got arrested for domestic violence..Bitch ass coach. How much did Tijani pay you. He should’ve never played in this tournament again after all the bs he has played

  • The Flying Eagles are having a go at this which is commendable.

  • The Senegalese have started ignoring Tijani’s presence in their box area. They know he can’t bite.

  • Finally, Tijani has woken up with some decent touches.

  • 10 more minutes of agony!

  • This Senegalese are getting tired and i don’t know why our boys are not capitalizing on it.

  • Charles 5 years ago

Rabiu got no skills to play right back

  • Charles 5 years ago

    TIJANI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • onwajunior 5 years ago

Eletu and Okon are my stars

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

    Broken Mews..!
    Tijani is not a Nigerian…!
A Nigerian footballer cannot be this bereft of ideas….not to talk of being a striker.

  • Clueless, classless, useless

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Why are these men so unintelligent

  • why all this needless shots from outside,

  • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

Our guys got gassed out first before Senegal.
My people my people, its been wonderful watching this horrible team.
Na here our NEPA take light.
Welcome home our old men with no ball sense, no skill,no passion,no push.
    Welcome home our egunje,clueless coach.
Thanks to our patriots who are blind to the truth.
Thanks to our truthful critics who love this country.

Our women are starting female world cup on 8th.
Let’s cheer them up anyhow though no high expectation. Its only a game.

    Please DONT GO NEAR SNIPER!!!!

    • That is not fair my brother. No less than 20 members of this team will make the Super Eagles squad.

Tijani Mohammed will be the next big thing.

      • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Looking forward to Tijani winning the Ballon d’or someday….!

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

I cant wait for Saturday to arrive…..time to switch attention to France biko.

  • Final Whitsle. They were just not good enough.

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Bye and large….a less than average bunch…but a better coach would have done a whole lot with these bunch of players. Paul Aigbogun has successfully buried his coaching career with this trash he gave us in this tournament. He should never near any of our football teams again.
I watched this match as a neutral…and wow…i did enjoy watching the match.

    • It really wasn’t that bad to watch actually as a neutral.

You are on point! With a different formation and different instructions, even that Tijani Mohammed could have been less terrible.

Your observation from the Afcon days were on point : is going to the by-line to cross to a useless beanpole striker the only form of football?

      • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

My brother, we had several…I mean several opportunities to pry open this Senegalese defense from the middle especially in the 2nd half…..but the coach has planted and covered with concrete his useless by-line tactics in the soul of these boys….hence they were always switching to the wings only to cross into a box packed with 6 footed Senegalese defender and a tall-for-nothing Tijani nowhere to be found.

  • Pompei 5 years ago

For me, I no dey too interested in all these under-whatever competitions. As long as we discover a few players to promote to the SE, I’m ok. I would happily sacrifice ten U-20 world cups to see us win the coming Afcon in Egypt. That, for me, is where the real business is for Nigeria in June. Hopefully, between the Super Eagles and the Super Falcons, June will yet give us some fine football memories!

  • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

    Looking into the future…
    Utin
    Ogbu
    Dele-Bashiru
    Oforboh
    Micheal
    Ozornwafor
    Makanjuola
    Oremade
These are the only ones I see developing further in coming years. They are the only ones i can vouch for to be seen in the U23s or the SE in the next few years. If this can happen, then the objectives of this tournament has been met.

    • What about Tijani Mohammed, Chinonso Emeka and Yira Collins Sor?

      • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

They should first go for deliverance….serious deliverance to reclaim their destinies. Bcos wahlahi….these ones were not commissioned to play football in this life. Maybe they can try again in their next lives.

      • Ayphillydegreat 5 years ago

That’s the essence of the tournament. To discover potential future SuperEagles. Hopefully those players above can go on to have good careers. Uruguay won all their group games yet lost in the round of 16. We dominated the Senegalese and in all honesty we should’ve had a penalty in the first half. IMHO I think that’s a penalty. Any contact on the line is a penalty. Looking at it critical Lopy raised his legs in the box and Sor head was above the line. It could’ve gone either way. These team just lack the cutting edge and finishing.

        • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

          The Philadelphia guy,I hail o!

          Long time bro.

          Forget the penalty.

Oga Tijani for still chop am as well.

  • Pompei 5 years ago

Welcome home, Sambisa Eleven! You can’t give what you don’t have. Now, most of you need to go and look for your real calling. The time for pretending to be footballers has come to an end!

  • NIGERIA NIGERIA 5 years ago

UNTILL WHEN NFF AND THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT KNOWS THAT FOOTBALL IS A NATIONAL INTEREST LIKE SECURITY, THEN MAY BE NEEDLESS SITUATIONS LIKE THIS WILL NOT NEED TO HAPPEN .FOOTBALL IN NIGERIA IS A TOOL THAT UNITES THE DIFFERENT AND WARRING groups.

PICKNICK AND NFF SHOULD COVER THEIR FACES WITH SHAME AND NAKEDNESS FOR ALLOWING THIS USELESS UNINTELLIGENT MAN CALLED COACH TO DISGRACE OUR NATIONAL TEAM .

WHERE DID THEY GET THESE KIND OF PLAYERS FROM THAT CAN NOT CONTROL MAKE MOVEMENT WITH THE BALL.

BEFORE A COACH IS SELECTED FOR NATIONAL ASSIGNMENT TECHNICAL CREW OF THE NFF SHOULD CONSIDER HIS BACKGROUND AND WHAT SUCH PERSON HAS CONTRIBUTED TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME.ITS OBVIOUS THIS COACH BROUGHT TRIBALISM AND SELFISHNESS INTO THE TEAM ,HE CAME WITH HIS EXPERIENCE OF BEING A LOCAL COACH OF ENYIMBA WITH THEIR KICK AND FOLLOW FOOTBALL.THAT IS WHY HE SELECTED PLAYERS WITH PHYSICALITY BUT ARE LACKING IN NECESSARY TOOLS .AM SO SAD.

  • Glory 5 years ago

We tried to support you Aigbogun despite loads of negatives surrounding you but you have goofed monumentally. Taking Oforbhor out for Bashiru, when both playing together with that boy Okon could have done d team a massive good. Also keeping Tijani in d game when he was even playing against us just tells the world you re a most incompetent coach. You have nailed your coaching career in d coffin n throw that coffin into d deep ocean. Absolute rubbish.

  • Not at all disappointed.
For the first time in my adult life that nigeria set a twam to an age group fifa competition and expecting them to loose for whatever reason.

From the African championship, every honest nigerian knew we had no team, neither of players nor of coaches.

Instead of throwing an open cam and fortifying the teams, “we bought into the lies of the APC; That the fulani herdsmen are not terrorists and that all is well; we embarked on the next level”
The next level has come crashing.

This is what to expect in naija the next 4 years, not sportswise anyway, but socially and economically.
The future is bleek and gloomy.

I wish that our young people will focus the time and energy they give to soccer to issues of governance and politics, there live and that of their unborn generations will be better for it.

The relief derived from the “drug” called soccer is very temporal and ephemeral.

Nigerian youths only a REVOLUTION like the Arab Springs can salvage your future.

    • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

      Lol….. But e dey pain me gan-gan.

    • Dr. Drey 5 years ago

Oya go and kick start it now…? Why are you pushing the responsibility to others.

  • Poor positioning while transitioning from midfield to the attack. Overall, a much improved performance. Okon, Oforboh, Sor, Makanjuola and a couple others have got the touches.

Only if Aigbogun had included a real striker in the squad, the Senegalese were there for the taking. I mean, it’s been a while I’ve played as a hobby on the pitch, but by jove, I’ve got more skills than that Tijani. I was looking forward to even a single moment of brilliance to get the better of his marker. NONE!! Are you kidding me right now?!! A striker?

I could count different tricks he could have applied each time he got the ball, but I got dissapointed over and over again. Thank God the senior team coaches are not Nigerians! SMH.

    • Kel, you are so wrong. How can you imply that Tijani Mohammed is not a real striker.

      Go and sit down joor.

This guy is the real deal. In the hands of another coach, he will go from being the real deal to turning defences to the real meal.

I know a good striker when I see one.

      • Hahahahahaha @deo. Wahalahi, even the one wearing the Number 9 and sitting on the bench was more calamitous. Not sure why they assigned him such reverred shirt. I’m starting to believe Aigbogun truly collected egunje to field some players. I wonder how many of them will sign a lucrative club deal now.

Amunike (God bless) was all about 100% merit in 2015. Today, both himself and about half the team are reaping the benefits in their careers both for themselves and Nigeria.

  • Edoman. 5 years ago

They were not just good enough. They should not even be here playing in Poland. Now, they came, saw and beaten. Aigbogun might not even know the true meaning of his name in Edo language, To talk of managing a National team. I blame those who gave him the Job. He has done his worst. Aigbogun should now disappear from the football scene after that thorough investigation of the bribery scandal which came up.

  • Darey 5 years ago

Quick question, so was this the team chukwueze was meant to play with? Kudos to gernot rohr on this one, atleast for not allowing dat to happen….his value could be diminished

  • Darey, who could Chukwueze have benched in that squad? Is it Tijani Mohammed or Sor?

    • Ara Nkita 5 years ago

      Hahaha….you guys are so funny.
Chukwueze wouldn’t have featured sef because he won’t be interested in bribing the coach as a big boy.

Thanks Rohr for sparing him the inevitable embarrassment.

  • Praise 5 years ago

This is what happened when a coach selects based on what part of the country you are from? A good coach will resign if people are forcing players on you.
We raised alarm about this team from the first match but some coaches here told us they played so well against Qatar and asked what else we wanted after 4goals
Now i expect these coaches here to show up and tell us what went wrong
It doesn’t take more than a game to spot a good team. Siasia remains the best coach at this level even his worst team has a pattern.
    They should come back home
