  • Please stop listing shehu among the wing-back because he don’t have what it takes to play the role. I prefer Kalu or aina.

  • New and latest tactical formation is 5 5 0. And not 5 4 1 . Or 3 4 3 . Or 6 3 1 or 4 4 2 or 4 2 4 .or 3 6 1

Nice one, Dele, LOL! I prefer the 5-0-5 system. You know, like the Peugeot 505. Who needs midfielders? Midfielders are way overrated! The 5 defenders can just kick the ball up, and the 5 strikers will find their way. Hopefully, they won’t bump into each other in the process. I also like 5-5-0. 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, no striker. Very nice formation.

Hahaaha Pompei and Dele are killing me with laughter here o hahahaha.

  • I prefer 4-4-2 formation i will advise Gr to start balogun from the right full back. ezenwa. Balogun.omeruo. ekong.collins.MD ndidi.mikel.iwobi.kalu. AT ighalo.onyekuru. with this squad SE can win the afcon.

Balogun legs are not like 6 years back, he may not be that fast again to play right-back.

  • “while Jamilu Collins will feature in the left wing-back position…” What about Moses Simon? Is he not the most effective left wing back we have presently? How do you know Collins is the left wing back and you do not know which of Aina, Shehu or Kalu will be the right wing back? I think you can do much better Complete Sports. If you are not sure about what you’re posting, its better not to post any article than posting insinuations.

Which kind Simon Moses? Hope you’ve not been Believing that sponsored website owngoalnigeria that has been spilling fake news. How do you think Rohr would have Collins, who is a natural left back, and play Simon? Rohr is conservative and would rather play safe than experiment.

I would rather go with a 3-4-3 formation. My problem with 3-5-2 is the possibility that Chukwueze may be benched! But 3-4-3, the line up could be something like this:
    Ezenwa
    Ekong, Omeruo, Balogun
    Aina, Ndidi, Mikel, Collins
Chukwueze, Ighalo, Onyekuru, or Iwobi, or Musa, or Kalu

Having said that, with the firepower we have going forward, perhaps a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 might be the optimal options.
    Ezenwa
    Aina, Ekong, Balogun, Collins
    Chukwueze, Ndidi, Mikel, Iwobi/Kalu
    Ighalo, Onyekuru
Now, this is a balanced line up, explosive going forward, mobile, double pivot midfield, and solid defense.
