Semi Ajayi was on target as Hull City claimed an impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester United in their Premier League clash at the MKM Stadium on Saturday.
Ajayi opened the scoring for the hosts in the 17th minute, finding the back of the net from a corner to give Hull City an early advantage.
The goal was a historic one for the Tigers, as it marked their first in the Premier League in nine years following their return to the English top flight.
The Nigeria international was, however, unable to complete the game after sustaining an injury. He was replaced by Paddy McNair in the 63rd minute.

Nobel Mendy doubled Hull City’s advantage seven minutes before the break, putting the hosts firmly in control of the contest.
Manchester United tried to find a way back into the game after the interval, but Hull City held firm to secure a memorable victory and all three points.
Hull City will look to build on the impressive result when they travel to face Coventry City in their next Premier League fixture.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will aim to bounce back from the disappointing defeat when they welcome Ipswich Town to Old Trafford.
