Members of Nigeria’s representative in CAF Confederation Cup Rivers United will on Tuesday (today) undergo the mandatory Covid-19 test before taking on Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday in CAF Confederation Cup first round first leg tie.
Before embarking on the trip to Bloemfontein South Africa, players and officials of Rivers United were subjected to the protocol of Covid 19 assessment and all the tests returned negative but they will have to undergo another test since it did not fall within 72 hours to the kickoff time of the match.

The testing will begin at 9am (SA time, 8am NIG time).
Rivers United will play Bloemfontein Celtic in the CAF Confederation Cup first round first leg on Wednesday at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium, kick-off is 6pm local time (5pm Nigeria time).
