Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says Super Eagles midfield star Wilfred Ndidi is still a long way from returning to action due to injury, Completesports.com reports.
Ndidi sustained the injury in Leicester’s 4-2 Premier League win over Burnley at King Power Stadium in September.
The injury led to Ndidi missing the Super Eagles two international friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.

And speaking in his pre-match press conference, ahead of Leicester’s home game against Aston Villa this weekend, Rodgers said Ndidi alongside Ricardo Pereira are not ready to return.
“Ricardo and Wilf, these guys are a way off it as well.”
Rodgers outlined the extent of his side’s injury woes with five players potentially fresh doubts for the Premier League clash with Villa.
Carla Soyuncu missed Turkey’s game against Serbia on Wednesday night and will face a spell on the sidelines, opening the door for a Premier League debut for £32 million arrival from Saint-Etienne Wesley Fofana.
Jamie Vardy is a doubt for Villa with a calf injury while attacking midfielder Dennis Praet has a knee issue.
Daniel Amartey, meanwhile, came off in the 3-0 defeat to West Ham United last time out with a hamstring problem.
The issues are mounting up for Rodgers, who will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the shock reverse at home to the Hammers after a perfect start to the new Premier League season.
“The international break hasn’t been kind to us, with a number of players coming back as doubts. We definitely think Cags will be out for a number of weeks – because of the scans we got through from the Turkish Federation – but until we get the final scans, that will determine the length of time.”

That means Ndidi is out of the November qualifiers. Aribo is expected back. We hope we will have Etebo also.
Wishing you all quick recovery.
