Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers says the club “will do everything they possibly can” to sign Youri Tielemans.
The on-loan Monaco man impressed again and netted his third goal of the season during Sunday’s 3-0 win over Arsenal at King Power Stadium.
The Belgian moved to Leicester in January, with Adrien Silva moving in the opposite direction, and he has now scored three goals in 11 matches.
Leicester did not include an option to buy in the 21-year-old’s deal, but Rodgers has assured fans that they will do everything in their power to make him a Foxes player.

He told reporters: “There will be dialogue between the clubs. He’s clearly a player we would like to work with and I understand the fans enjoy watching a player like that.
“I’m sure the club will do everything they possibly can to bring him in. There are things he can’t do but he’s paid to create and score and he’s doing that very well. “It’s important that you have players that are hungry to score and Youri has got that.”
