Popular Nigerian singer, Blackface has revealed that the Super Eagles need a visionary coach that will help bring back the glory days of the team.
Blackface made this known in an interview with Punch, where he said that despite the pool of talents in the Super Eagles, there is no real quality coach to manage them properly.
He also said that the current Super Eagles players are average and can be compared to the days of Austine Okocha, where creativity was at its best in the team.
“The Eagles need a coach with a vision to lead the team back to where they should be. The squad has lots of young talents, but they lack a visionary coach to lead them,” he added.
“In this current Eagles, everyone is on the same level, there is no particular player that stands out.
“There are no stand-out players like the times of Austin Okocha. When you see Okocha in a game you’d know that something’s about to happen but now that spark is missing nobody in the current Eagles can make something happen out of nothing.”

We all know that the current coaches of the Super Eagles are not good enough to build Eagles but still, most of us still backing them to continue.

We Nigerians hate to hear the truth. Oga Rohr should have bn fired after the world cup or immediately after the last Afcon but where we are today, deceiving ourselves every day.

Complete Sports this not good. Why all this too much negativity before a crucial qualifier. Anybody that criticizes the coach, it becomes headline. Is there a plan to distract and discourage the coach and the team.
The attack on coach Genet Rohr is evil and diabolic. It is normal for fans to criticize and attack a coach that is doing bad but for Genet Rohr he has been constantly criticized and attached even when he is not doing bad.
He is about to qualifier for another major tournament with a game to spare and currently leading his group yet every day we read he is the worst coach, he is this, he is that. Let him fail first before we crucify him.
Now it is no longer ex-internationals but Musicians that are now after him. After it will be the turn of Actors, them Market women, then Bus drivers. Everybody must hit at Genet Rohr. If he draw a match it becomes a taboo. As if we have ever had a coach that qualified us in a major tournament without dropping points even with our finnest stars like Oliseh, Yekini and Amokachi. Even Gardiola, Klopp, Zidanne, etc all have the days their team fail to perform. But for us, Genet Rohr must not drop a point.
I’m not saying he is the best coach but rather lets be fair in our judgment. The bible says the same measure you use to judge other will be used to judge you. That is life. He has his target and goals set by NFF. Let him fail first before we condemn him. And secondly this is the worst time for the Media to be filling the Air space with so much negativity, before and important qualifier.
All these talks are not necessary. Is he complaining about the lack of a stand out player or lack of a visionary coach? Rohr might not be the best for Nigeria, but has delivered on targets set for him. I believe in constructive criticism. Our football was already suffering when the man took the reins, it’s unfair to expect a quick transformation. I agree we are not where we should be, but we must also be fair enough to acknowledge the fact that we are not far off.

First, they want heavy slamming for Blackface and trigger the typical cat and mouse fight between the strongly pro-Rohr and anti-Rohr teams.
Secondly, and more importantly, it’s all about the traffic, guys. The more traffic they get with your endless mudslings with all the kitchen sink, pans and whatnots, the more they earn from/with Google Adsense (All those random adverts with a tiny x and dash at the top right corner).
I just checked CSN metrics and currently, their Adwords Traffic Cost is $51 (It’s dramatically increased over the last few months). That is, they earn $51 when you click on any of those Google banner ads displayed here. The monthly traffic is 4.12K – quite impressive. Cool advert money. They really need to thank some forumites here.
That is why CSN never censors or removes any comment or abuse – except you post a link to a more credible website or major sites where they source some of their stories from (like a UK sports websites that report on African soccer stars). They don’t really care about owngoal.com as they don’t regard them as real competitors.
