Nigerian players and low ambition is like 5&6, imagine with all his 17 goals and 17 assists , his agent couldn’t strike a deal even with a French or Turkish top flight team, all he could joyously get is ALMERIA, !!, a team that haven’t smelt LA LIGA for the past 3 seasons, who said that a player can’t move from and obscure League , directly to a prominent League and club side after an eye-catching performance, Luca Modric moved from Dinamo Zagreb to Tottenham, Nemanja Vidic moved from Spatark Moscow to Man U, Yaya You’re moved from Olympiakos to Barcelona, Lassana Diarra moved from Portsmouth to Real Madrid, even our own Tate Taiwo moved from Lobi Stars to Olympic Marseille, so why can’t Sadiq Umar move from Partizan Belgrade to a decent club, why Almeria ??????

    • Why don’t you become his agent. Ekong went from udinese to watford in championship. Mikel went from trabanzpor to stoke, onazi went from trabanzspor to midtjylland. Should i continue. Have you considered playing time. What are the chances he will get playing time in top division. Do you think its that easy getting into a first team. Please leave the poor guy to concentrate on his career

Honestly im disappointed. Bcos its a step backwards no matter how u look at it. You can’t move from a team that offers opportunity to play Europa or champion league to a lower division irrespective of the country . On the otherhand it seems sadiq did it to hv a short cut to laliga but who knows wen Almeria will play in Laliga again.Only time will tell

    • Make una leave the guy now. If not contact the club you want him to join on his behalf. Who knows if he is what the club is missing in there quest to get back into laliga, My friend not everyone will get to play in champions league, europa league. You can only strive.

  • Sounds like a money move. I expected him to move to a club in the first division but I guess almeria were the only ready to meet partizans asking price. Maybe he sees this as a better way to get into a bigger team. If he scores alot of goals for almeria, then he will set himself up for a move to a bigger team. But I don’t see his chances of being invited to the Super eagles improving with this move. All the best sadiq, score lots of goals in spain!
