Salami Happy To Join Saudi Second Division Club Al Qaisoma


Nigerian forward Gbolahan Salami is delighted to have joined Saudi Arabian second division club, Al Qaisoma FC on a six months deal, reports Completesports.com.


Salami, 27, who previously played for Kazak club Irtysh Pavlodar last year is delighted with the opportunity.
“I’m happy to have made this switch and I hope to help the team avoid relegation at the end of the campaign,” Salami told  Completesport.com.


Salami’s new club Al Qaisoma are currently 17th in the 20-team championship with 22 points from 20 matches.


They are just a point ahead of Al Ain, who are in the relegation zone in the Saudi second division.

He could make his debut for Al Qaisoma in Thursday’s Kings Cup clash against Al Fetah.


The forward who has been capped four times by the Super Eagles, previously featured for Shooting Stars Of Ibadan, Sunshine Stars, Warri Wolves and Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League.


He has also played for Kups in Finland.
