Simy Nwankwo scored a brace as Crotone beat Benevento 4-1 in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Ezio Scida on Sunday afternoon, reports Completesports.com.
Crotone went ahead on four minutes when Benevento’s Kamil Glik put the ball into his own net.
Nwankwo scored the hosts second and third goals in the 29th and 54th respectively.
The 28-year-old has now scored five goals in 18 league appearances for Crotone this season.
Milos Vulic netted Crotone’s fourth of the game in the 65th minute.
Iago Falque scored Benevento’s consolation goal eight minutes from time.
