Okereke doubled the visitors’ advantage with his first touch in the 68th minute few seconds after replacing Antonio Vacca.

The striker took on the Empoli defence right from his own half of the pitch, sprinted through on goal before he fired home with the left foot from the top of the box.

His colleague Tyronne Ebuehi was an unused substitute for Venezia in the game.

Nedim Bajrami reduced the deficit for the hosts from the spot a minute from time.

More trouble for Coach Rohr… A guy deemed surplus to requirement at Club Brugge… “Surplus to Requirement” that phrase is any player’s nightmare catch phrase with a coach at any club… Get your confidence back David! Welldone…

That solo goal by Okereke was a beauty. The boy has talent.
I’m not surprised though Okereke is a very good player whose luck ran out in Belgium for club Brugge, hopefully he could get a Career once full of potential back on track.
