Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was in action as Lazio defeated Napoli 2-0 in Saturday’s Serie A game at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The Nigerian international, who was making his 19th appearance, is yet to register a goal or an assist this ongoing season for Lazio.
Dele-Bashiru came on as a second-half substitute for Toma Bašić in the 71st minute and had a positive impact on the game.

Lazio opened the scoring in the 8th minute through Cancellieri’s left-foot shot. The visitor could have extended their lead in the 31st minute, but Zaccagni failed to convert a penalty awarded to Lazio.
However, Bašić made it 2-0 in the 57th minute after a brilliant assist from Cancellieri to seal the maximum points for Lazio.
The win moved Lazio to 9th place on 47 points while Napoli maintained the second spot on 66 points.
