Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, is being linked with a move to South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants Orlando Pirates and Kaiser Chiefs.
Nwabali’s link to the PSL heavyweights is not unconnected to his impressive showing for Super Eagle at this year’s AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Chippa United shot stopper replaced Francis Uzoho ahead of the tournament and impressed.
The 27-year-old kept four consecutive clean sheets and also made two saves in the penalty shootout win against South Africa.
According to sources, via snl24.com, Nwabali has been linked with Kaiser Chiefs while Pirates are also in the race for his signature.
“Big clubs are always looking for quality players and it is not surprising that there has been interest in the player (Nwabali)from those clubs,” the source was quoted by snl24.com.
“He came to the PSL to build his profile and the aim for him is to play for a big club. He is ambitious and he wants to play overseas.”
