Head coach of the three-time African champions Gernot Rohr is yet to release the list of players for the games.

“Maduka Okoye has been included in Nigeria’s final squad. The Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper is simply international of the Supereagles. With Nigeria, he will compete against Ivory Coast (on October 9) and Tunisia (October 13). The matches will be played in Austria, reads a statement on the club’s website.

Okoye has featured once on the international stage for the three-time African champions.

He linked up with Sparta Rotterdam earlier this summer after severing ties with German club Fortuna Dusseldorf.

  • This nff are bunch of clowns, different clubs are confirming d invitation of their player yet nff has not made the list official lemme ask what your reason?that’s the problem we are having here in Nigeria abuse of power just a friendly match hmmm I wonder ooo

    • I don’t see your point. If you understand official organogram and procedure, plus if you have a little patience, you won’t be saying this.
List will be out next week, wait for it.

Oga…..pls explain the organogram and procedure in announcing the list of call-ups for friendlies that will take place in 3 weeks time. So the clubs who are publicly confirming the invitation of their players dont have organogram and procedure abi….??? From whom are we supposed to be hearing about call-ups, the NFF or clubs…? Most times coaches submit their list of invitees long enough to allow invited players apply for the necessary travel documents into whichever countries the match will be played. So give and take Rohr must have submitted his list since at least 2 weeks ago.
All I see here and which the NFF has been fighting for is the freedom to doctor Rohr’s lists and smuggle their own boys in. I wont be surprised to see 1 or 2 shocking inexplicable names of the list when it is eventually released.

        • Oga Noah, you follow them dey there know say dem want doctor the result shey? Shey the list dey sick?
Bros how many countries coaches list you don see wey dem don release this period?

          • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Oga Habakkuk, as you sef take follow dey dia take know cay na organogram and procedure make dem never release list na so me sef follow dem dey dia know say dem fit wan tamper with the list. Go and update yourself, Cameroon don release their own list, Argentina don release their own, US don release their own. Many other countries don release their list for October international window.

        • Lolll you won’t kill somebody this man, which one be Habakkuk again? I laugh out real loud now men lolll

          • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Tor….wetin man go do na…? As e decide to christen me with Noah naim me sef christen am with Habakkuk make e for nor cause quarrel.

  • Dr Drey bro abeg no mind that guy na pple like am de kill this country de can’t even say things d way they are you have sent invitation to clubs yet you have not made d list known to the citizens of the country so those clubs are bigger or more important than d citizens odnary friendly match oooo, before sending invitation to those clubs it means d nff ok d list but not making it public up till now simply implies abuse of power they are toiling with d fans emotions it’s a simple pshcology n devil go punish all of them for that glass house

Hehehehe…pls help us ask him to explain the “..organogram and procedure..” in announcing the list of call-ups for friendlies that will take place in 3 weeks time. NFF Technical committee has not met since 2017, Technical study group has not met since 2018, The technical director position is currently vacant. So he should explain to us the organogram that is withholding out list….LMAO

      • Wetin you wan use the list do now? Na you be coach? If the list come out now, wetin you gain? Una just like to dey find problem everywhere, typical Nigerians.

        • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

The clubs wey dey go confirm in public say dem invite dia players wetin dem use the confirmation do….? wetin dem gain….? Make NFF no kuku release the list na…make dem hol am since nobody gain anything if dem release am.

The long standing tradition of the NFF has always been to send invitations to the players at their clubs before releasing the list to the public.

can someone pls help us find a way to convince EBERE EZE to play for Nigeria??. . .lol. I know its not the right thing to do ooh, a player must decide to play without external influence or convincing. But my brothers, make we talk true “”EBERE EZE IS TOO GOOD TO LET GO”” .
The Tricks and creativity that guy will bring to our attack can not be gotten from any other source!!
Chai. . ..that guy is good, trust me.

  • I think it was Drey that’s mentioned that NFF are withholding the list from public because they want to make one or two input of their own, maybe he is right, or how can we justified the inclusion of Samson Tijani?
