The former Gent of Belgium player who switched to Levante in the Spanish LaLiga Santander last summer has been declared surplus to requirements at his new club according to a report on France Football.
The 23-year-old winger has not started any LaLiga game this season for Levante but has featured just five times in 20 games.
Though he has played four times in the Copa Del Rey for Levante from start.
France Football also reports that the Nigerian was on the radar of the French side last summer before he joined Levante.
Simon, capped 21 times by Nigerian with four goals famously missed the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to a thigh problem.
He previoulsy featured for AS Trenčín in Slovakia during the 2014–2015 season before joining KAA Gent in Belgium where he spent three years and won the Jupilier League title and the Belgian Super Cup.
