The Super Eagles will now face the Pharaohs of Egypt under the floodlights today (Tonight) in an international friendly encounter at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Completesports.com reports.
The match earlier scheduled to kick-off at 4pm has now been moved to 6pm on the request of Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr.
Rohr, Completesports.com learnt, complained about the weather situation in Asaba which he deemed too hot during his side’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Seychelles last Friday.
The German tactician revealed during his interaction with the media in Asaba on Monday that he will consult the top hierarchy of the Nigeria Football Federation to change the kickoff time for the game against the North Africans.
Rohr is expected to make a number of changes to his Super Eagles line-up against the AFCON 2019 hosts who will also be without their biggest star Mohamed Salah.
Daniel Akpeyi is expected to start in goal while the likes of Leon Balogun, Moses Simon, Semi Ajayi and Paul Onuachu are also expected to be in the starting line-up.
