Trabzonspor Keen To Sign Onuachu On Permanent Transfer

Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan insists the club remain interested in signing Paul Onuachu, reports Completesports.com.

Dogan however said the Turkish Super Lig outfit could be forced to look elsewhere if they are unable to reach agreement with Premier League club Southampton.

Trabzonspor are keen to sign the lanky hitman on a permanent transfer after his impressive loan spell last season.

The 30-year-old scored 17 goals across all competitions for the Black Sea Storm.

“His (Onuachu) family also loved the city very much. He repeated that he wanted to stay. The club slowly came down in numbers. Hopefully, we want to finish this work next week,” Dogan was quoted by Sports Witness UK.

“The process progresses positively, but if not, there is a plan B. He wasn’t on the agenda, but he is an important centre-forward. We can have both. He is also a known name in the world.”
