Trinity Hit By Double Blow

Trinity Hit By Double Blow

Wakefield Trinity will have to do without Matty Ashurst and Joe Arundel for a number of weeks through injury.

The West Yorkshire outfit have made a fine start to the Super League campaign, with their seven wins so far taking them up to third place in the table going into the weekend’s fixtures.

However, head coach Chris Chester will have to work without the duo of Ashurst and Arundel for the coming weeks, starting with Sunday’s encounter with Hull FC.

Wakefield Trinity look set to be without Arundel for three months after he went under the knife to resolve a pectoral muscle injury, while Ashurst is out for five weeks with a foot problem.

The new names join the injury list which already includes the likes of Tom Johnstone, Jacob Miller, Danny Brough, Craig Huby, Bill Tupou and Anthony England at Belle Vue.
