Troost-Ekong Thrilled To Captain Watford Against Wolves

William Troost-Ekong says it was an honour to captain Premier League club Watford in Saturday’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, reports Completesports.com.

The Nigeria international, who only joined the Hornets from Serie A club Udinese last summer was surprisingly handed the armband in the 2-0 defeat at Vicarage Road.

And some racists will tell us Ekong is not worthy to captain the SE and is only doing so because he is light-skinned….LMAOOoo….same way they will tell us Okoye is only in the SE because he is light-skinned.

I guess Ekong’s skin is the lightest in Watford too….that’s why the coach handed him the armband on match day….LMAOOOoo.

You either have leadership qualities in you or you dont have it…..Its as simple as that.

I hope he won’t score another owngoal the next time he has a date with Mahrez? Give me Tomori… Give me Adarabioyo… I will tell Ekong to go and learn vulcanizer… Lol.

Come on, Jimbo! Ekong is a very decent center back. I believe that if he was not playing for Nigeria, he would be in the Dutch squad. He is that good, in my opinion. We landed a real gem in Troost Ekong. Fact!

Hehehehe…give you 2 players who are not willing to play for Nigeria…please continue dreaming….lets hope you dont end up eating pounded yam and okoho soup in that your dream.

Why not also request for Varane and Sergio Ramos…? LMAOOooo

Let them switch first na. Even Akpoguma their master is still struggling to displace Ekong from the heart of the SE oyinbo wall.

Apparently Ekong’s skin is the lightest in Watford, that’s why he has been a guaranteed starter since he set foot in the club and was handed the captain’s armband by the coach….LMAOOooo.

See how club coaches are exposing the hatred of some people towards Rohr and shutting their mouths up big time. The same things they criticize the humble man for is the same things these club coaches keep doing……LMAOOOoo

      • @jimmy please don’t even mention adarabioyo in the same sentence with Ekong……Na dat lanky thing u wan put for defence?

      • @ Jimmy stop insulting Ekong by comparing him to adarabioyo…..Ekong is more balanced, Ekong has pace,Ekong has an excellent passing ability, Ekong is strong,……all this things adarabioyo lacks…….Tomori can still be compared to Ekong not adarabioyo…..haba

  • Much respect @Dr Drey… Your analysis are always spot on

    • @Sirvictory then you know nothing about football and, are probably a Clone profile name by @Dr Drey.. You are lacking any form of reason, How can a person be on point when he is supporting Ekong Being captain but, also Supporting Musa’s Stay in SE that, is the contributing factor to Ekong or Ndidi (preferably) not being captain full time and a whole other hinderances which I have spoken tirelessly about. Then you come out to say DR Drey speaks sense let me ask you @Sirvictory Are you MAD!!?

It’s a clone drey is fooling his generations.

  • Captain fantastic. Ekong has got real leadership qualities. Everytime, reminds me of the GENTLE GIANT, UCHE OKECHUKWU. You can easily see, how proud Ekong feels to represent Nigeria. That is the SPIRIT we fans wanna see in players wishing to play for SE; not minding those God forsaken criminals parading themselves as so called sports administrator. These players should take consolation in the fact they are using their God giving talents to touch the heart of the struggling masses; children and widows inclusive with love, joy and praise to God Almighty. God bless to Troost Ekong, God bless to all deserving SE players and coaching crew lead by the very humble Gernot Rohr. 🙂

  • I WASN’T SURPRISED ABOUT THAT. YOU ALREADY HAVE THE LEADERSHIP QUALITIES PLUS RUGGEDNESS & FITNESS.
YOU HAVE BEEN DESTINED FOR THAT.
KEEP WORKING HARD AND PLAYING WELL.

Like Union Bank, Troost is BIG, STRONG, and RELIABLE. The guy is a colossus in that center back position. Almost unbeatable in aerial duels. And distributes the ball from defense fairly well. Troost (UNION TROOST) has formed a formidable partnership with Leon (GANDALF) Balogun that we have benefitted greatly from over the years. Hence the nickname OYIBO WALL.
I just feel so sad when it hits me that NFF ONIGBESE, OGBOLOGBO DEBTORS are still owing these guys who are doing such a marvelous job for us!
Fortunately, Troost, like Rohr and most of the SE squad, are not motivated by money. They all want to make a name for themselves. That is what motivates them. That is why they keep showing up and giving their best, INSPITE OF NFF ONIGBESE’S TOMFOOLERY.

I am a fan of Ekong and I love his dedication for the super eagles I believe it is not everything that Forumites will gather to argue at any given time. drey is the one always trying to make a mountain out of nothing at every given time, I hope you guys do not join him in his joblessness because boy can type and look for lies and turn twist to cajole himself and some low thinkers into believing his manipulations, I can also do this trashes with him but no never you’ll never see me going to look for link to explain to Mr A or B say wetin happen? I no get work? Will you pay me after posting the link? You’ll sit at the corner of your house and be waiting for your father to come and post link so that you will give me trophy or what?

Truth as we know criminal activities are going on in the national team that keeps us at average or sometimes below average when we should be the real Giants of world football. Take for example in this defensive arguments, how can a player like Anthony Izuchukwu be on the bench or denied another call up with such passing accuracy and intelligent tackles combined with high techniques for a defender in place for an Ozowanfor? Before you know it Izu will fizzle out and some monkies will come and say who will they invite over Izu? Jamb questions to manipulate their crew members after the player was not recognized to develop when at peak. These are the words of Vincent Enyeama on today’s headline on national team policy on having more centurions, because to me only smart players can go the miles and we keep killing these sort of smart players development. Alampasu gone, Musa Muhammad right back gone with bizarre talent of defensive and attacking flair even Ejuke was on verge of languish as well but God pass them. Let’s see if they’ll invite him again.

From now on we have to seek daily improvement on every department with better players and stop that shi of new players barred from staking claims, when we can learn from advance nations who call and integrate better intelligent players, so NIGERIANS need to stop thinking all is well with the national team just because we are qualifying for tournaments we should be winning or going as far as world cup quarters. I am not against Rohr but I am sure corruption is in the team and he is also part of the corrupt system.

I know there are typos as I have to take a short sleep but guys we should dream big and not be put into everything NFF, Rohr and some Mediocre Nigerians push at us to accept. Real facts!
