Head coach Hakeem Busari has invited 26 players to the camp of Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, as preparations begin for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from October 17 to November 7.
The Flamingos secured their place at the global showpiece after defeating Benin Republic home and away in the final round of the African qualifiers.
Nigeria have been regular participants in the competition since its inaugural edition in New Zealand in 2008, missing out only on the 2018 tournament in Uruguay.

All 26 invited players have been directed to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, for the first phase of the team’s final preparations.
