    Ghana eat our DAILY BREAD

    • Congratulations to Ghana, I swear you guys know how to neutralise Nigeria.

When it went to penalties I sort of knew Ghana had won!

  • Just saw the highlights. Our girls played well but were clearly jittery and overwhelmed by the vociferous home crowd, and were losing spot kicks after spot kicks. Not surprising as the margin of competition between the 2 teams are the thinnest in the tournament.

Congratulations to Ghana but going forward, the Fslconets’ coaching crew must have the full complement of key personnel, including psychologists to get to work on the girls when playing under charged and intimidating atmosphere like this and no supporters’ group of their own in the stadium. Most of the men’s team are used to playing under such conditions and are never distracted, but girls are girls.

Nigerians coaches need to learn. This is the only thing they have not learned. And it is affecting all the national teams . There are some teams u don’t need to struggle with … Again they have played and played yet dey lost ..
Lesson from u 20 Coaching crew … defend your goal . Have one or two guys that wil kill ur opponent.in the second half . Lol. They kept on attacking attacking attacking .
If super eagles when on attacking sierra Leone. U wil be surprised at the result…
If they can be defensive then sierra Leone wil fall like a pack of cards. Na wa o.

Big congrats to Ghanian princess however, what is wrong with referring in Africa and particularly WAFU. All the penalty saves by the Ghanian goal keeper if you look at all the replays, her feet were not on the goaline and the referee allowed it. Whereas the Nigerian goalie was doing all the right thing. I am not sounding like a sour looser but look at the tapes replays and you will see. If you look at the FIFA u20 tournament, that is why African teams do not do well. most times the best teams do not qualify because of dubiouse groúpings by CAF all in the name of regionalising the qualifiers as if that is not bad enough, the teams that qualify are at a loss in FIFA tournaments because they are used to poor officiating in the African qualifiers and at international tournaments they cannot perform because such will not hold. See Senegal, Gambia, Tunisia, are out because tackles, offsides and delay tactics that you will get away with in CAF tournaments do not stand in FIFA tournaments

    • And the assistant referee was at the side also. Well, they are female referees sha that may not have fully been acquainted with the new rules. Ideally now, every year, our young ladies will be active which is good thing for female football in Africa.

If NFF were proactive, would we not bid to host the next edition and have fitting stadia?

Is allowed in women football! The rules ain’t strict like in mens football

@football is more spiritual that physical. Many nations know this apart from Nigeria who use politics to venue for Eagles. I soon soon as I heard that the finals as been moved to kumasi I remove my mind cos I know what a Herculean tasks it is to defeat Ghana in Kumasi. I think Nigeria as the best result in that Stadium as they most times come away with a draw. Other African teams end up been slaughtered. It was in that stadium Ghana garnered Egypt 6:0 to over turn a world qualifying result after Ghana lost the first leg 5;0 in cairo

    • Selfmade KING 12 months ago

They didn’t beat Ghana 5 in Cairo! It was 6:1 in Ghana and the returned leg was 2:1 in favour of Egypt! No where is Egypt beating Ghana 5 goals to nothing! It won’t happen

    • Ghana beat Egypt 6-1 in Kumasi and lost 2-1 in the second leg at Cairo in the 2014 world cup qualifiers

@Four four Two, point of correction! All the matches from day one were played in Kumasi so don’t make it look like all the matches were played somewhere and the final was moved to Kumasi.
Finally, Ghana didn’t lose to Egypt 5-0 like u are saying. We played the first leg at home and won 6-1 and the return leg in Cairo ended 2-1 against us. So am wondering where u got that 5-0 scoreline from.

How can you lose three straight penalty kicks and still hope to make it?. It means these girls are very poor penalty kick takers. Coaches, penalty kicks are part of football which must be taught during trainings!

  • Geniusyk 12 months ago

I think the girls lost… due to psychological bullying from from the home crowd.. more also…the black starlets defended well..

    • benakay 11 months ago

Psychological bullying was what made the Falcons dominate the game from start to finish, as well as not concede from open play but from a penalty. Psychological bullying was what made them score against the Ghanaians, right? It also led to our keeper saving two penalties and what made the Ghanaian keeper cheat while saving the 3 penalties she did (thanks to the blind as a bat referee).

That Ghanaian team was poor. Even poorer was that dummy of a Nigerian coach who failed to practice penalties before the match.

  • Africa football will never go far at international level as long as some African countries still indulge in psychological bullying and committing the kind of attacking fouls with the confidence that the referee can’t give your players red cards due to the hostile environment they have created before and while the competition was ongoing.

Ghana is number one culprit of this offense in Africa.

The result is what we are seeing at world level. They intimidate and even harass their opponent and qualify for world cup in dubious ways and on getting to the competition at the world level fail Africa.

Caf and Africa referees still have a lot to do.

This evil incident cut across all levels of football in Africa. If Africa desire to go far at international level all this rubbish must stop.

Well done girls. Bus I expect your coach to know better and go along with a sound psychologist.

    • You guys are just scared to play Ghana. It is about time you get over that fear

      • Fear to play Ghana? When our boys at u-17 beat you in your own backyard and stopped Ghana from u-17 AFCON; and Flying Eagles stopped Ghana u-20 in Burkina Faso to also stop Ghana from going to AFCON U-20, never mind the World cup, which Nigeria is now at Qtr final level, playing S Korea in 2 hrs time having knocked out host Argentina in R16.

Don’t also forget that our Senior girls beat you Ghana Black Queens to stop qualify for the World cup in Australia this Summer. All of these within one year.

So where did your hallucination of Nigeria “scared to play Ghana” come from?

    • @Godsate, I can smell hatred all over your post, what is psychological bullying? What did Ghana do wrong by supporting it’s team massively. Did we infringe on any law? Psychological bullying is when you lose a game and attack your opponent’s team bus and supporters and invade the pitch etc. Please go back and check your history. And for your information Ghana has a better record at the men’s world cup compared to your pathetic super chickens. Pls we all lose a football game from time to time. The best thing is to do an introspection and not go bunkers accusing everybody. You said at the tail end that your girls need a psychologist. How does that become Ghana’s problem? Maybe that’s the way to go and stop making baseless accusations.

What a LOSER that u are!

When Ghana defeated Nigeria in Abuja what happened?

Thiugs and hoodlums looted and destroyed ur own stadiums!

      So shut the hell up

  • Riquelme10 12 months ago

@Selfmade.. when did Ghana beat us in Abuja? I thought the scores is 1-1… Didn’t you qualify based on our away goal? Oponu

    • Didn’t Ghana beat you to the world cup ticket. Didn’t Ghana defeat your world cup aspirations

    • Selfmade KING 12 months ago

Didn’t Ghana beat in Lagos and u burnt our team bus? Go and search the archives for this information

Besides if Ghana didn’t beat u in Abuja to the wc ticket, where did the hoodlums ran riot in ur stadium?

      U know the answer already

      • Akanlo Ede 12 months ago

Nigeria has been defeating Ghana since time immemorial.
Why didn’t Ghana progress at the 2006 Afcon? Oga go and sit down. Nigeria is far better than Ghana. We never wanted to go to Qatar anyway. Who even cares about women’s football?

  • Agbo chimezie 12 months ago

Hope Tinubu is bringing them luck fools, south Korea will defeat Nigeria today mark my word

  • @agbo who said a thing and come to pass when the Lord has not commanded it? Remove hatred for Tinubu and let your eye see that the career of those young Nigerian (flying eagles players) depends so much on victory in today’s game and the subsequent one.

  • Collins Id 12 months ago

#agbo chimezie, i will give you briafra on only few conditions, you will give us your women! dont worry i will give you Edo and worri girls you and them fit go build ur isrealite in aba, the reason we have not freed biafra is bcos of those beautifull girls in your beautifull land, as for the men we dont really need you guys with big heads expecially anambra and aba men, another condition is we will always select good footballers and nollywood stars from your land, u can build up ur team with ghana and cameruon players no problem, last condition you will surrender ogene music to us u can adapt congo music as ur new music, if you can agree to these terms we have a deal just email me.
For now Nigeria will win korea 3 0,

  • Collins Id 12 months ago

@fetched water, i want you to know that Ghana victory over eagles is not a big deal, west africa/central africa is a blessed region of africa black race, they are what oyibo called the black gold! They have equal level of intelligence the reason we Nigeria stand above the rest of you guys is becos we have a big population, we are more than the rest of you put together in terms of population,( when it comes to big booty girls that you guys are parading yoruba women can help us Challenge you guys on that level) but you know in football 11 players decide the game. Any westafrica team is capable of defeating anyteam in this world including nigeria or brazil! Mali, burkina, liberia, senegal, liberia, etc can beat any of us,
Ghana is a football giant in africa, but mali and senegal even zimbabwe always shock ghana, just as ghana shock naija mosttimes, its like ghana have a subject in their education curriculum( how to beat nigeria) hahahaha

    • Akanlo Ede 12 months ago

Thumbs up Collins. Go and check the records, Nigeria has done better than Ghana this century. Since 2000, what meaningful trophy has Ghana won? No Afcon, no Olympics medal no nothing. Nigeria stopped them in 2002 and 2006. Last year,we did Ghana a favour because we were not interested in going to a conservative country like Qatar.
If we meet Ghana again, they will be destroyed.

  • Ochuke 12 months ago

I was surprised to see the team after first half coming to play same pattern in the second half. Ghana forced us to play their game and we fell for it. This girls were playing beautiful football all through the tournament only for them to start playing long balls. I would have preferred them to play their beautiful team play and lost instead of the long ball that cut off the beautiful display of Esther, Afolabi and kanu in the midfield. Danjuma who taught this girls free flowing football should have seen this in the first half. Our goal is not to win Wafu but to build a good team for under 20 World cup and graduate these girls to the senior team. Danjuma if you can read my post, please, continue with the free flowing football, play more friendly matches and give us a superb team for u 20 world cup.

  • Fear to play Ghana? So where did your hallucination of Nigeria “scared to play Ghana” come from?

    • @Tony, you are pathetic! Which nation booted you out of the chan? Are u playing in the u23 nations Cup, which serves as the qualifier for the Olympics? You refer to the u20 world cup, maybe you need a reminder that ghana remains the only African nation to have won that trophy. These your so called overaged u20 team will never win this world cup. Keep dreaming.

Now it ll take AFRICA 100 years to win the under 20 after Ghana lol

      Nigeria bite the dust lol
