France U-20 women’s head coach, Sonia Haziraj is expecting a difficult test when her team face the Falconets on Thursday, reports Completesports.com.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup Group C clash is billed for the Estadio Nacional, San Jose.
The Bleuettes defeated one of Nigeria’s African rivals, Ghana 4-0 in a friendly late last month.

Haziraj however believes the Falconets will be a tough nut to crack compare to the Ghanaians.
“I’m extremely wary of Nigeria. I have massive respect for the African game and Nigeria have a number of players who possess real quality,” Haziraj told fifa.com.
“The Nigerians always get out of their group at the youth tournaments. I’ve watched them and they’re a well-drilled, hard-working side.
“They have great pace and are very athletic, and we’ll have to be ready to match them in that respect.”

It would have been nice for the NFF to arrange a low key friendly against a European side for the Falconets. Up until now, they have faced only African sides.
In any event I definitely wish them well. A good result against France should set the tone for their remaining group fixtures.
This encounter against France, on paper, should be their most challenging test at this stage. It is good for them to get it out of the way first.
Avoiding a defeat should be the primary objective, all other outcomes are desirable.
Well done to the Falconets.
If the falconets can get a draw against this France team, then i believe they will surely get to the finals.
When it comes to the NFF expectations should be lowered because those guys are as clueless as they become, but not to dismay if from what I’m seeing so far at this tournament(underdogs doing well) is anything to go by then our beloved falconets are i held in good stead.
This group is really tight ooo…but nothing is impossible!!
UP FALCONETS!!
