Former Ajax midfielder Marciano Vink has praised Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, stating that he never expected the Nigerian international to make immediate impact at Ajax.
Recall that Arokodare joined Ajax from Wolves this summer and has already scored 5 goals in 8 appearances across all competitions for Ajax this season.

In a chat with Livescore, Vink praised Arokodare’s physicality and finishing, adding that the 25-year-old gives Ajax a different option up front.
“I didn’t expect him to make such an immediate impact,” the former Ajax midfielder said.
“Only the heading could be a bit better, but that move reveals a lot. He can really play football well for such a strong, big player.
“That chance for Tolu, which he controlled on his chest and then shot wide with his left.He took it a bit too much on the outside of his foot this time, causing it to go wide.
