Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has lauded the Flying Eagles following their impressive win over Togo at the WAFU B U-20 Championship, Completesports.com reports.
Abdu Maikaba’s side thrashed the Sparrow Hawks 3-0 in their second Group B encounter in Yamoussoukro on Thursday.
Muiz Adeleke scored twice for the Flying Eagles, while Abdoulaye Agbeloye added the third goal in the convincing victory.
Chelle Praises Flying Eagles
Chelle praised the players for their impressive second-half response after enduring a difficult opening half.

“The first half was difficult for Nigeria because Togo have a good team, who started to play with the ball and it was difficult for us,” Chelle who was in Yamoussoukro to support the Flying Eagles said after the game.
“In the second half, the coach asked the boys to make high pressure on the team, they did. They played well in the second half, they put a lot of pressure on Togo, got the ball high on the pitch, got a lot of chances to score goals and they did.
“I was happy with what I saw in the second half.”
Burkina Faso Next For Maikaba Boys
The Flying Eagles have already secured a place in the semi-finals, and top Group B with six points from two matches. Burkina Faso, their next opponents, are second on four points.
Both sides will meet in Yamoussoukro on Saturday in a decisive clash to determine the group winners.
