Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka says he has learned to handle the extra attention he is now getting.
Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed a superb breakthrough in his senior career and has gone from strength-to-strength since making his Premier League debut for the Eagles in February 2018.
The 21-year-old has firmly established himself as the starting right-back this season, having made 26 league appearances, and is being tipped for a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad after impressing for the Under-21s.

Being a recognised player in English football ultimately brings with it increased popularity from supporters and this has been no different for the Palace defender, who is a fans’ favourite.
Speaking in an interview with the Palace for Life Foundation about the extra attention he is receiving, Wan-Bissaka says he is now used to getting stopped by people.
“It is weird,” he said, “But now I know what to expect, so when I go out it’s good to see people’s reaction. There are some days I just want to get to a place for a certain time but I get stopped. I’m used to it and I’m happy to do it.”
