Wire Tie Down Duo

Warrington Wolves have secured Academy players Riley Dean and Connor Wrench to contract extensions with the club. 17-year-old Dean, who has made seven appearances for the Academy this season, kicking 21 goals, has penned a full-time contract to take him through to November 2021.

Wrench, also 17, will stay until November 2022, and will turn full-time once he has completed his education in 12 months. Warrington are delighted to secure their futures and believe they will go on to be a big success in the game, if they stay grounded, Academy head coach Paul Anderson believes.

“We are really happy that Connor and Riley have extended their stay, with both players having come through the junior system at Warrington Wolves with the backing of the Supporters’ Trust Squadbuilder scheme,” Anderson said. “In my short time at the club both have proven they have the desire and work ethic to match their undoubted talent. I’m confident that they are Super League players in the making, if they stay humble and continue to work hard.”
