Wolves Interested In Zaidu Sanusi

Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers are weighing up a move for Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi this summer.

Sanusi, 23, has impressed in his debut campaign with Porto after arriving from another Portuguese club Santa Clara last summer.

The Nigeria international featured in all of Porto’s 10 UEFA Champions League games this season scoring once.

The left-back has also become a regular with his national team and is in line to feature in his first international competition at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.

According to several reports, Wolves are in the market for reinforcements this summer after a relatively-underwhelming campaign that sees them sit 12th in the Premier League table with just six games remaining.

The club has a strong trading relationship with Porto, meanwhile, having spent a club-record fee of £35m on teenage striker Fabio Silva from the side last September and also bringing in Ruben Neves and Willy Boly over the last few years.
