Ghana held England to a 0-0 draw in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group L clash in Boston on Tuesday night.
Carlos Queiroz’s side put up a solid display at the back, and stood tall against relentless pressure from England.
Declan Rice had England’s best chance of the first half but his looping header hit the crossbar.
Elliot Anderson, and Anthony Gordon missed good chances for the Three Lions after the break.

Ghana goalkeeper Benjamin Asare also denied Harry Kane with a superb save.
Abdul Fatawu had Ghana’s best chance of the game 10 minutes from time, but Ezri Konsa got back to foil his initial attempt, the winger’s second effort was blocked just in front of the goalline by team-mate Antoine Semenyo.
England saved their best opportunities for the closing stages.
Reece James delivered a cross to Nico O’Reilly, whose header at the back post rattled the crossbar. The rebound fell to Kane, but the striker blazed his effort high into the sky.
