Cristiano Ronaldo has celebrated Portugal’s 5-0 victory over Uzbekistan, Completesports.com reports.
Ronaldo scored a brilliant brace in the Group K encounter to erase the memory of his poor showing in Portugal’s 1-1 draw with Democratic Republic of Congo last week.
The 41-y became the first player to score in six World Cups and he also became the second-oldest scorer in tournament history behind Cameroon’s Roger Milla.

Ronaldo Talks Up Big Win
Ronaldo was delighted with Portugal’s emphatic win over the Asians.
“I’m very happy. But for me, the most important thing is our work and the confidence we showed,”Ronaldo was quoted by FIFA.com.
“The team performed really well and improved a lot. As the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining. Obviously, speaking personally, records are always nice, but my goal is always to help the national team achieve its objectives.”
