Wrexham have congratulated Arthur Okonkwo on his maiden appearance for the Super Eagles, Completesports.com reports.
Okonkwo made his debut for the three-time African champions in the Unity Cup semi-final encounter against the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Tuesday night.
Millwall winger Femi Azeez bagged a brace as the Super Eagles cruised to a 2-0 victory.
Okonkwo was a surprise starter, preferred ahead of the more experienced Francis Uzoho.
The 24-year-old had little to do in the opening half but produced a brilliant save with 20 minutes remaining.

Switch Of Allegiance
Okonkwo featured for England at various youth levels before changing his international allegiance.
On April 6, 2026, FIFA confirmed that the Arsenal academy product had officially switched his international allegiance from England to Nigeria.
He has also earned a place in Nigeria’s squad for next month’s friendly matches against Poland and Portugal.
Udinese shot-stopper Maduka Okoye and Uzoho are the other goalkeepers included in the squad.
The Super Eagles will face Poland in Warsaw after the Unity Cup on Wednesday, 3 June. before confronting World Cup-bound Portugal in Leiria on Wednesday, 10 June.
Move To Wrexham
Okonkwo first joined Wrexham on loan from Arsenal in 2023 before making the switch permanent in the summer of 2024 after leaving the Premier League club, signing a three-year contract.
During his spell at The Racecourse, the goalkeeper secured consecutive promotions, earned a place in the 2023-24 League Two Team of the Season, and has also played a key role in Phil Parkinson’s side pushing for a Championship play-off spot this term.
Okonkwo featured in 39 matches for Wrexham during the season, recording 10 clean sheets along the way.
