Amin Younes says he is happy at Napoli and had no intention of leaving the club during the January transfer window.
Germany international Younes made the switch from Ajax to Napoli last summer but his time in Italy has proven problematic so far, with an early injury delaying his debut until December 8.
The 25-year-old winger has made five Serie A appearances this term but there were suggestions he attempted to leave the Stadio San Paolo in January after becoming unhappy with life in Naples.

However, Younes has rubbished those claims and insists he is more than happy playing for the Partenopei, who have once again been forced to settle for second place in the league behind a dominant Juventus. “I never wanted to leave.
My only goal was to stay and affirm myself at Naples, he told Goal and Spox. “In January I spent a few weeks in Belgium to undergo a special rehabilitation and to be able to return to the field 100%. “Napoli has always been the perfect club for me, from day one.”
