About

Kiraa football Academy was established in 2024 in ikorodu, lagos state, Nigeria. The academy was founded to discover, train, and develop young football talents while combining football education with character development, academics, and life skills. Its vision is to become a world-class football academy that produces players capable of competing at national and international levels. The academy was founded under the leadership of Franklin Oluwasegun Currie. Since its inception, Kiraa has focused on grassroots football development, organizing youth training programs and competitive matches to expose young players to higher levels of football. The academy has also begun plans for a modern football academy and stadium project in Ogun State to support player development. Kiraa Football Academy's Playing Style While Kiraa has not publicly released a formal tactical philosophy, reports about the academy and its matches suggest the following characteristics: Possession-Based Football – Players are encouraged to be comfortable on the ball and make intelligent passing decisions. Technical Development First – Training emphasizes ball control, dribbling, passing accuracy, and game intelligence. High Work Rate and Discipline – Coaches focus on discipline, teamwork, and tactical awareness. Attacking Mindset – Youth teams are encouraged to play positively and create scoring opportunities rather than relying on defensive football. Character and Leadership Development – Beyond football skills, players are taught responsibility, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Kiraa's football philosophy can be summarized as: "Fueling Dreams, Building Champions." The academy seeks to transform raw grassroots talent into complete footballers through structured coaching, education, discipline, and competitive exposure.
