About

Royalty Athletic FC (formerly Royalty FC) was established in March 2007 by two young football enthusiasts: Qudus Agbelega, a Nigerian-American based in Atlanta, USA, and Emmanuel Nwafor, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The club was founded with a clear vision: to create a pathway for talented young footballers to develop and become professional players. Over the years, Royalty Athletic FC has remained committed to youth development, talent discovery, and providing opportunities for aspiring footballers to showcase their abilities. In 2024, we proudly participated in the 1xCup competition. Although we did not advance beyond the group stage, our team left a lasting impression by playing exciting, attacking football and entertaining fans with memorable performances and outstanding goals. One of our most successful products, Ibrahim Ogede, gained significant attention for his breathtaking goals during the competition and was featured on your platform. His performances earned admiration from football fans and further increased the visibility of the tournament. Today, Ibrahim Ogede has progressed to the professional level and currently plays for Inter Lagos FC, a testament to Royalty Athletic FC’s commitment to developing players for the highest levels of the game. Royalty Athletic FC enjoys a strong and growing fan base across Lagos and on social media. Our supporters played an important role in promoting the 1xCup, generating engagement and increasing awareness of the tournament among football enthusiasts locally and internationally. Through our reach and influence, we contributed to giving 1xBet valuable publicity among our fans across the world. As we look ahead to this year’s edition, we are fully prepared to add even greater value to this remarkable project. We remain committed to supporting youth football development and contributing to the positive impact that 1xBet continues to make in promoting grassroots sports and empowering young athletes across Nigeria. We believe our participation will not only enhance the competitiveness and entertainment value of the tournament but also further strengthen the connection between the competition, its sponsors, and the passionate football community that follows and supports us. This version reads professionally and highlights Ibrahim Ogede as a success story from your club’s development pathway.
