2023 U-20 W/Cup: Eguaveon Charges Flying Eagles To Go For Victory Against Italy

Nigeria Football Federation Technical Director Austin Eguavoen has backed the Ladan Bosso led Coaching crew to devise a winning plan to secure victory against Italy.

The Group D encounter at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup is billed for Wednesday (today) at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, Mendoza.

Both teams secured opening day wins over Dominican Republic and Brazil respectively and will look to seal knockout round qualification with a win.

“The Italians are a good side but nothing is given in football until a match is played and ends. It is about the set-up, about the structure of your team and how much you bring to bear what you have noticed about the other team, ” Eguavoen told NFF.com.

” I’m happy our coaches saw the Italians play the Brazilians and it is now left for us all to put our heads together and devise a winning plan.”

The game will kick off at 7pm Nigerian time.

Is the name Eguavoen still heard in Nigerian football? Are people still listening to him?

Bro, Eguavoen remains a major stakeholder in Nigerian football, Yes he failed in the past Afcon but please don’t belittle his personality, He has the right to air his view on anything involving Nigerian football.
