Bafana Bafana of South Africa captain Themba Zwane believes Friday’s World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria would be tough for he and his teammates.
The Eagles will host South Africa inside the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday.
It is one of two qualifiers for the Eagles who will then take on Benin Republic on Monday, 10 June.
Aside the game against coach Finidi George side, Bafana Bafana will host Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
“Both games are very important. We just want to win the two games even though we know they are both going to be difficult, especially the match against Nigeria.
“It will be more difficult because we will be playing away from home. We played against them at AFCON and we know what they are capable of. It’s going to be an exciting game to watch and we will put up a good fight to ensure that we get the desired results,” Zwane said.
